Discipleship is the lifelong pursuit of nearness and submission to Jesus, our Master, appropriating Jesus’ character, values and mission, by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

At Grace House we pursue discipleship with the help of FaithPath, a holistic discipleship map and invitation to follow Jesus with purpose and joy.

The New Testament clearly teaches that faith in Jesus is the essential starting point for discipleship of Jesus.

The 12 circles of FaithPath are a bold attempt to represent all that the scriptures say about following Jesus. Each circle is expanded with a simple descriptor.

Trusting in Jesus is the irreplaceable starting point, but after that you can explore multiple aspects of discipleship at the same time. There is no perfect graduation from any element of FaithPath. Each aspect (or circle) can and should be regularly engaged for progressive maturity, depth and the help of other disciples on the journey to discipleship.

After trusting in Jesus by faith, there is no strict linear path to following Him. Like ripples in a pond, growing outward in larger and larger circles, your life  of discipleship moves outward in expanding layers of freedom, holiness, joy, discipline, impact, intimacy and community.
